Passage
Mr. Miller owns a repair shop in a small town. He repairs anything that people bring to his shop although he is a specialist in fixing medical equipment, especially hearing aids. One day an old gentleman came into Mr. Miller’s shop. He walked up to the counter where Mr. Miller was working and put a hearing aid on the counter without saying a word.
Mr. Miller picked it up and examined it. Then he asked him what had gone wrong with it. But the man did not answer him. So he asked him again. but this time in a very loud voice.
